Trials have an end.

If you haven't allowed this year to squeeze the best out of you, what have you been doing? Trials and hardship are always meant to be turned around for good. It is a promise. Ask God for help if you struggle in this area. He is always willing. He can be trusted. Don't give up hope. If you have lost a loved one this year, this might be the hardest thing for you to read right now, and that is understandable. Allow yourself to grieve; don't force it. King Jesus will walk with you every step of the way thru that, even at your pace. He will never leave you grieving alone.

Mind war

Hope helps you overcome the renewal of your mind.  21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister. - Colossians 1:21-23

Newsroom Word 09/18/2020

Sometimes reading the Bible is like reading the newspaper. If you really want to know what is going on, all you’ve gotta do is read It. Today Isaiah 27-28 NLT read like the signs of the times. I believe it is a Word for today. Right now.

Fire in the Church

Many people in the church are concerned about saving the lost, but what about saving those in the church?  21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' - Matthew 7:21-23

Onward Christian Soldier

Here’s a question in reflection of current events: If one action from one man can instigate a ripple domino effect of rage & havoc across America from longstanding injustices & just under the surface hurt & pain, how much MORE could the obedience of one Christian to the whisper of Sweet Holy Spirit cause a ripple effect of glory & salvation across this land??! I believe God has already released angels who have been working under the surface in the hearts of man. Don’t you think HE has prepared the hearts of man for such a time as this? All it could take is just one person to incite the revelatory explosions of God to burst open the eyes & hearts of humanity to cause them to run & fall at the feet of Jesus. Let’s do this folks. Are you ready? ✨Now is NOT the time to shrink back. If EVER there was a time when we NEED the Body of Christ fully functioning linked together as ONE utilizing their God given spiritual gifts & producing His sweet & wartime effecti...

Jealousy & Joy

Other people’s blessings do not diminish your own. There is plenty for all of us. Our God is generous— look at how He poured out Jesus! Jealousy actually diminishes your heart’s ability to experience God’s blessings for YOU!

Social Isolation

When you have developed & sustained your relational foundations with God in secret, social isolation does not jeopardize your hearing of Him, your closeness with Him, or your awareness of/faith in His Presence. -Shea

Fact or Fiction?

One form of witchcraft that has penetrated the world but has also penetrated the church is the fascination with conspiracy theories, suspicion, & mistrust which ultimately  fuels fear.

Trouble Building?

A good friend of mine and I were trying to put together a bookshelf. The wood planks were not numbered like the instructions showed. We just started putting together the pieces that we did recognize. It suddenly came together.  If you don’t know what you are building, just start with what you do know; and build from there!

Why is unbelief so believable?

Why is unbelief so believable? Unbelief manipulates our emotions. It causes us to believe it one disappointment at a time as we begin to reason with it one thought at a time. Unbelief is seductive. It is an illusion of reason for the pain we undergo. It deeply impacts every part of our lives. It influences every interaction we have, every relationship, every decision. It effects us at our core. It causes distance between us and our Loving God. It causes us to question God. We start to argue with God. Then, we start to argue with others. It causes well-meaning Christians to hide their internal struggle from those we care about. No, we don’t want them to see us struggle. We are supposed to be a strong Christian. The illusion of living a struggle-free existance is a fruit of unbelief. Telling the truth is easier than living a lie.
